Alarm Products Distributors, located in Roseville, Minnesota is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity to recognize the children of local first responders. The scholarship is in honor of the memory of David Ledo. David was a retired employee of APD and was well known for his designs of fire alarm systems. He passed away in March 2021.
One scholarship will be offered in the Spring of 2024. Please see the attached for the criteria to apply and the application form. Please email your complete application package to scholarship@apdmn.com. Applications are due on or before Monday, April 1st, 2024. The name of the selectee will be announced May 2024.
Qualifying applicants who demonstrate extraordinary leadership skills and volunteerism in our community are most welcome to apply.
The 2024 essay topic is: How has being a child of a first responder influenced your life?
The submitted essay must be typed, double spaced with a minimum word count of 300.
